Okay, thank you for the advice. I am opening a new one now and will be labeling it "possible Friedrick piece"

Great info on this maker, especially since it's so hard to nail down these fine buckle makers of the late 20th century. This also helps to put the use of N.Y.C. into a date frame context as New York City came to replace New York, New York increasingly over time.
On another subject, Trev., can these jewelry questions that keep popping up be moved over to the correct place for those doing research based on this info.?.

I recently went through my late fathers belongings and found a Ronson Lighter encased in a Sterling Silver sleeve adorned with Rubies and a Gold Horse head. The silversmiths mark is H. Friedrick NYC. If Mr. Friedrick's children are still on the forum I will post a few pictures for them.

Thank you,

Hi Howard,

Welcome to the Forum.

I'm sure we'll all be pleased to see some images of the item and the marks.

I have a sterling Marshal six point star badge with rubies at each end of the point of the star.
Back is hallmark H. Friedrick sterling.
I like to get more info on it.
