Hello All,
There is an old champagne bucket, portuguese silver.
The guarantee mark 1886-1938 (Boar and I) excludes 916 silver fineness and the Assay Office Lisbon.
Another hallmark is the letter “F” and the maker's mark is a “lying sphinx above the letter L”.
In addition, there is the brand "1º título" and the brand "LEITAO 8,13".
What do these brands mean?
Is silver fineness 916 or 813?
I'm hoping one of you knows the maker “ a lying sphinx above the letter L”.
As always, any help will be greatly appreciated.
