I found these two silver birds, one is perhaps a pheasant and the other a pigeon, I think.
They have hinged opening heads and can hold something, but I can not imagine what. The larger have damaged feet and I think that its end will be in the pot (the melting pot), but also the smaller, which has no damage, has a very poor stability, especially when it is full. The head-cap is not water tight and so I do not think it's a tableware item, but I have no idea what it's for. Capacity is 100 cc and 300 cc.
In the "pheasant" I didn't find any mark, while in the "pigeon" there are two small marks that I do not know: a cross and a crowned G ??
Any suggestions will be precious.
Thanks for attention

Thanks Trev, you're a fountain of information.
By chance, does anyone know what they're for?
