Help with marks on silver ladle (German?)

Hello one and all. I would be grateful for your opinion on the attached two images. The item is a large serving ladle. It is clearly marked '800' and also has a mark that rather resembles a pair of open scissors with a little circle beneath. Many thanks for your time.
