Hi
I'm new to these forums and hope this post is in the right place.
I purchased a silver box many years ago from a London auction house catalogued as part of the estate of Vladamir Calitzine (Provenance bought in by direct descendant)

The box has a hallmark on the top and base which read AH and another mark (which is a little rubbed) but looks like a womens head looking right in a 5 sided lozenge shaped a bit like a bishops hat.

There are no other hallmarks visible
I have spent quite a while looking for these marks and have not managed to find them anywhere on the net..your opinion and help is most appreciated
Many thanks Darrenr

I don't, but hopefully someone with better resources can identify the maker.

Re: Help required with AH russian hallmark
Ok thanks
The Austrian part was most helpful..
The auction house that i originally purchased it from had it catalogued as Russian (a respectable major London auction house lol)
ps the makers mark could be AK or AH
anyone else?
TIA
regards D
