If so, he was born in around 1737, it means he apprenticed in only 10 year old, and got freedom in his 17. Are those possible?

I'm away from home at the moment, and my copy Grimwade is not with me to help understand your point. I do have access to an apprentice indenture contract for a Charles Wright for the year 1752. That's the best I can do for now.

Grimwade said Charles Wright apprenticed to Thomas Whipham 1747, free in 1754. Since Wright became Whipham's partner in 1757 (p. 698), apprenticeship started from 1752 sounds too late.
