5 October 1842 Solomon Royes formerly of Queens Square in the Parish of Saint George the Martyr but now of Saint Helier on the Island of Jersey Gentleman will proved at London. One of the daughter's middle name was Houghman and the addresses 137 and 138 Aldersgate are mentioned in the will.

Although this will is Indexed on ancestry.com under the name Solomon Royers the will begins with the name Solomon Royes. It's filed correctly on the National Archives site, as Solomon Royes, Gentleman of Saint Helier, Island of Jersey [ TNA / PROB 11/ 1970 / 7 ]
