23 February 1811 Samuel Knight of the Parish of Saint Leonard Foster Batchelor and Maria Gore Rowe of the same Parish Spinster were married at Christ Church City of London. Witnesses were Thomas Rowe and Sarah Knight.

11 March 1818 Samuel Knight of No 7 Westmoreland Building in the Parish of Saint Bartholomew the Great London Gentleman will proved at London. Samuel's wife Maria Gore Knight and brother William Knight Silversmith were two of the executors. Reference: TNA PROB 11/1602/175
