HORNE, John (Grimwade p.551)

Post by silverly »

25 March 1772 John son of John Horne of Princes Street Lothbury Jeweller apprenticed to James Freeman London Clockmaker.

20 March 1776 John Horne by the consent of the parties turned over to Thomas Banfield London Clockmaker.

11 July 1781 John Horn marriage to Ann Ince solemnized at Saint Marylebone Westminster.

3 September 1783 Mary Ann daughter of John Horne Watch-maker and Ann christening recorded at Saint Giles Cripplegate.

13 February 1791 John Richard Ince son of John Horne Watchmaker and Ann christening recorded at Saint Giles Cripplegate.

All of the above information applies to a possible identification of the J Horne in this Grimwade entry. However, it is worth adding that the 1821 proved will of Sargeant Ash (Grimwade p.377) lists as one of his addresses 64 Saint Jame's Street which is same address given by Grimwade for the 20 October 1800 mark entry of (J) Horne & (D S) Ash.
