TANQUERAY, Ann (Grimwade p.676)
Grimwade comments that there is no reason to think that Ann Tanqueray was a qualified goldsmith. However, judging by statements in her will which was proved 21 November 1733, she was at least a worker. She left the use of her patterns and working tools to her executors until her children were of age. Her executors were her brother David Willaume II (Grimwade p.704) and Edward Jordens who worked with her. Reference: TNA PROB 11/662/185
