SMITH, George V (Grimwade p.663)
1 July 1818 George son of William Smith late of Bunhill Row in Middlesex deceased apprenticed to Joseph Andrews Bull and Mouth Street in the City of London silver turner and polisher of the goldsmith's company. (Included as a possibility for this gentleman. The timing is about right, the trade is related and the signature is as Grimwade suggests; George is spelled out.)
