11 August 1767 Bernard son of John Glaze of Wherstead in the County of Norfolk apprenticed to John Broughton of Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex silversmith and goldsmith of London.

14 February 1771 Bernard Glaze discharged from John Broughton because he was not "inrolled" within the first year of his term.

19 February 1771 Bernard Glaze turned over to David Whyte (Grimwade p.700, 771) Goldsmith of London of the same trade. http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... 74&t=33346
