28 November 1738 William son of John Woodcock late of Sutton Cofield in Warwickshire skinner deceased made free in the City of London in the company of masons by redemption paying forty-six shillings and eight pence. Under new business and along with a caution to execute the order within three months is the comment "a Silver Smith."
