He married Ann Derayne at St Botolph, Bishopsgate in 1684.
Their son Edward was christened at St Leonard, Eastcheap in 1685.
Sons Seth in 1688, Joseph in 1690 and daughters Sarah also in 1690 and Ann in 1692 were christened at St Botolph, Bishopsgate.
Another son Seth was christened at St Bride’s in 1703. His mother was Frances and the record shows his father as a goldsmith at White Horse near Fleet Bridge.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in Bishopsgate in 1692 and in Fleet Street 1707-22 and listed in the Merchant Taylors Company in the London Poll Books for 1713 and 1722.
He was buried at St Bride’s Fleet Street on 16th August 1722.
His Will as a goldsmith late of London was proved for probate on 14th August 1722 (National Archives reference PROB 11/586/334).
