John Hilman entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall between 1731 and 1733 as a sword cutler from Russell Street, Covent Garden.
A John Hillman was assessed to Land Tax on property in St George, Hanover Square parish from 1749-65.
The Will of John Hilman, sword cutler late of St George, Hanover Square, was proved for probate on 12th February 1765 (National Archives reference PROB 11/906/124).
