HORNE, Elisha (Grimwade p.297)

Post by MCB »

Page 158 of Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World lists Elisha Horn as apprenticed in 1715 but provides no detail of his freedom.
Two daughters of Elisha and Elizabeth Horn were christened at St Bride’s, Fleet Street, one in 1730 when their address was New Street and the other in 1731 when their address was Gunpowder Alley.
He entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall in 1733 as a case maker from New Street Square.
No later information has been found for him.
