John and George Hanet, goldsmiths of St Ann,Westminster, paid Duty for the apprentice indentures of William Leeson Burton in 1745 and James Vivares in 1762.
The Will of John Hanet, late of Porter Street, St Ann’s, (Soho) Westminster, was granted probate on 6th November 1771.
George Hanet entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall in 1776 as a gold worker from Porter Street, Newport Market, Soho and was listed as a goldsmith from that address in the London Poll Books of 1780-90.
The Will of George Hanet, goldsmith of Porter Street, was granted probate on 12th June 1793. [TNA/PROB 11/1233/151]
