BALDWIN, Thomas (Grimwade p.288)

Post by MCB »

Tudor Smith (Grimwade p.323), the son of Gyles, signed to be his apprentice in 1708.
He entered a mark in 1710 at Goldsmiths’ Hall from New Street probably as a case maker.
Page 14 of Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World lists Thomas Baldwin as apprenticed in the Clockmakers Company in 1678, free in 1685 and died in 1737.
