WOOLCOMB, Robert (Grimwade p.710)

Post by MCB »

He may have been the Robert Woolcomb who married Mary Pick at St Leonard, Shoredithch in 1798. Their son was christened at St James, Pentonville in 1807. One of the same name entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall from Collier Street, Pentonville in 1818.
The burial in 1837 of Mary Woolcomb aged 68 years, late of Willington Street, was registered at St Luke, Finsbury.
Robert Woolcomb married Elizabeth Edwards at St James, Clerkenwell in 1837.
The 1841 UK Census listed Robert as a silversmith aged about 60 years living with his wife Elizabeth at Cottage Place, St Luke’s parish.
His death was registered in St Luke’s in 1845.
