WILKINS, Micah (Grimwade p.702)

As the son of Micah Wilkins, a turner late of Marlborough, Wiltshire, he signed indentures in 1694 to be the apprentice of John Dancer of the Bakers Company. He was made free in 1702.
He married Sarah Wells at All Hallows, London Wall in 1713.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in St Leonard’s precinct, Foster Lane from 1707-41. The property was empty in 1742.
The Will of a Micah Wilkins, late of St Leonard’s parish, Foster Lane, was proved for probate on 25th May 1747 (National Archives reference PROB 11754/417).
