WHEATLEY, Samuel (Grimwade p.697-8)

Post by MCB »

Indentures were signed in 1797 for George Simons, son of Joseph Simons a spoonmaker of Red Cross Street, to be Samuel Wheatley’s apprentice at Aldersgate Street.
Indentures were signed in 1810 by William Henry Sharp (Grimwade p.655) and in 1814 by his brother Hadarezer Whitfield Sharp, sons of John Sharp (Grimwade p.655) a clockmaker of Fish Street Hill, to be Samuel Wheatley’s apprentices at Old Street.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in Old Street from 1813-19. Another tenant was assessed on the property in 1820.
No later information has been found for him.
