Grimwade suggested the name might be Frederick VANHAM, a chaser from St Luke’s parish.
Frederick Vanham is registered as from St Luke’s parish when marrying Catherine Marshall at St Mary, Aldermanbury in 1744 and is also listed as a chaser from St Luke’s having paid Duty in 1746 for the apprentice indentures of Thomas Townes.
Fred Vanham is listed as a silversmith from Eagle Court when voting in the St Clement Danes and St Mary (Aldermanbury?) elections in 1749.
No further information has been found in the London records under any spelling of the name.
