He was listed in the 1727 London Poll Book in the Broderers Company working at Foster Lane, was assessed to Land Tax there from 1720, took over his father’s premises in 1729 and continued to be assessed there until 1737. The new tenant was William Kidney (Grimwade p.570).
The Will of Richard Scarlett of Foster Lane was proved for probate at PCC on 7th November 1737. (National Archives reference PROB 11/686/53).
