Re: RUELL, James (Grimwade p.648)
11 December 1823 James Ruell 13 Little Wilde Street burial recorded at Elim Chapel.
James Ruell's probate record reveals that there was a memorandum written the year of his death containing instructions for the disposal of his estate. He could not sign it because of rheumatic gout in his hands. It was this document that was eventually proven in 1829 as well as depositions written in 1829 that were from among others his sister Mary Fairburn a silversmith and the widow of the silversmith Thomas Fairburn (Grimwade p.505). Mary was granted administration.buckler wrote:The Will of James Ruell of No 13 Little Wild Street , Middlesex was proved at PCC on 31 December 1829 (TNA/PROB 11/1764/355)
