PERIER, Charles (Grimwade p.619-20)

He married Jane Riddle of All Hallows Staining at St Andrew, Holborn in 1730. He was from St Paul’s parish, Covent Garden.
Charles Perier of St Ann’s parish, Westminster described himself as a distiller in his Will of 1740 but the document is probably relevant here as probate was granted in 1742 to a widow Jane.
In view of Grimwade’s note that Charles Perier the silversmith was made bankrupt in 1734 a change of address and occupation is understandable.
