He married Susan L’Hommedieu at St Benet, Paul’s Wharf in 1735; both were from St Ann, Westminster parish. She was christened Suzanne in 1710 at Rider Court French Huguenot church, Westminster, the daughter of Ozee (Grimwade p.582) and Suzanne L’Hommedieu.
He entered a mark in 1739 at Goldsmiths’ Hall as a large worker from Heage (Heaneage?) Lane.
Peltro was listed in the London Poll Book for 1749 as a Gent from Suffolk Street, St Martin in the Fields. “Gent” suggests he was no longer employed.
