Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World page 246 notes his apprenticeship in the Clockmakers Company began in 1761 but provides no further detail.
He entered a mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1773 as a small worker from 13 Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury.
One of this name paid Land Tax on property in Bishopsgate from 1781-84. A new tenant was assessed on the property in 1785.
No further information has been found.
