CROOK, Henry (Grimwade p.480)

Post by MCB »

He married Ann(e) Hallgate at St Mary, Islington in 1735. They were both from St Andrew, Holborn parish.
Five of their children were christened at St Andrew, Holborn from 1737-46 when their address was Brooks Market.
Another of their children was christened at St Sepulchre, Holborn in 1749 when their address was Turn Again Corner.
One of their sons was also named Henry. The burial of a Henry Crook late of Turn Again Corner recorded at St Sepulchre in 1750 does not, as do others, mention him being a child and presumably refers to Henry senior particularly as no further trace of him has been found.
