BROCKWELL, John (Grimwade p.450)

Post by MCB »

He was probably the brother of William Brockwell (Grimwade p.450) and uncle of Henry (William) Brockwell (Grimwade p.450, 739).
John, the son of John and Mary Brockwell of Pitfield Street, was christened at St Leonard, Shoreditch in 1769 and at the same church in 1772 and 1775 respectively their sons William and James when their address was Worship Street
Richard, son of John Brockwell, a silversmith and his wife Mary, was christened at St Luke, Finsbury in 1779.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in Peartree Street until 1816.
No further information has so far been found for him.
