Arthur, the son of Arthur Ashton of the Stationers Company, was apprenticed in 1714 to William Gregory Citizen and Cutler.
There are three christenings records from 1726-37 at St Dunstan in the West for the children of Arthur and Martha Ashton.
The burial of Arthur Ashton aged 63 years was recorded at St Bride, Fleet Street in 1760.
