GOORE, Thomas (Grimwade p.320)

Post by MCB »

Indentures were signed in 1705 for Thomas, son of the late Henry Goore of Highton, Lancashire Husbandman to be the apprentice of Edward Fletcher of the Clockmakers Company.
He married Elizabeth Pawley at St Benet, Paul’s Wharf in 1714. He was from St Sepulchre, Holborn parish.
He was made free in 1716. In the same year he entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall as a case maker from Islington and paid duties for the apprentice indentures of John, son of John Clarke, Clockmaker.
No further information has been found for him.
