ABDY, William II (Grimwade p.419)

Post by MCB »

He was christened at St John Zachary in 1759, the son of William I (Grimwade p.419, 734) and Esther.
Indentures were signed in 1802 by William Lardner of Oxford to be his apprentice.
He paid Land Tax on properties in Oat Lane until 1820.
The burial recorded in 1835 at St Mary, Haggerston of a William Abdy aged 75, late of Goldsmiths Close, is probably relevant.
