FREEMAN, Drury (Grimwade p.335)

He was christened the son of Drury and Elizabeth Freeman at St Luke, Finsbury in 1795.
He married Elizabeth Appleby at that church in 1822.
An undated document indexed to 1822-3 concerning his application for freedom by patrimony in the Clockmakers Company shows his father free of the same Company in 1789.
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1824 as a watch case maker from 41 Gee Street, Goswell Road. The entry is endorsed “pendant maker”.
He was still living at Gee Street for both 1841 and 1851 UK Census where he was shown as a watch key maker.
His death was registered at St Luke in 1857.
