BUTTERFIELD, Robert (Grimwade p.315)

He was christened in 1773 at St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, the son of Isaac and Mary.
Indentures were signed in 1787 for him to be the apprentice of Thomas Goff, Citizen and Merchant Taylor.
He entered a maker’s mark in 1813 as a pendant maker from 5 Charles Court, Hull Street, St Luke’s and notified changes of address to 3 Waterloo Street in 1818, 21 East Row, Mount Pleasant in 1820, and 2 St John’s Row, St Luke’s in 1822.
The burial of a Robert Butterfield aged 80 years, late of Sion College, was recorded at St Luke, Finsbury in 1853.
