The christening record of their son Joseph William at St Leonard, Shoreditch in 1829 showed his father as a watch case maker and their address as Middlesex Place.
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1830 as a case maker from 6 Hull Street, St Luke parish.
The christening record for a daughter at St Mary, Bryanston in 1832 showed their address as 5 Montague Square. No occupation is recorded for her father.
The christening record for a son at St Pancras, Camden in 1837 showed their address as Cromer Street and his father as a watch case maker.
The 1841 UK Census showed him at Barnes Court, Clerkenwell.
