He married Maria Baker at St Marylebone in 1818.
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1819 from 34 Percival Street, Clerkenwell.
Christening records of five children at St James, Clerkenwell 1819-30 show him at that address.
He notified a change of address to 8 Skinner Street, Clerkenwell in 1832 and he was still there in 1841.
The 1851 UK Census recorded him at 25 St Bride Street, Liverpool. He entered a maker’s mark from this address at the Chester Assay Office around 1851.
By 1861 he had moved to 134 (Halkner?) Street, Liverpool.
A further maker’s mark was entered in London in 1864.
He was recorded living at Portland Terrace, Coventry in 1871.
He died in Coventry aged 77 years in 1875. His Will was proved at the Birmingham Registry in that year. His last address was Portland Terrace. The value of his estate was under £3000.
The above records variously describe him as a case maker, a watch case maker or a gold watch case maker.
