HARDING, John Martin (Grimwade p.305)

Post by MCB »

He was christened the son of George Harding, a weaver, and his wife Phebe (sic) at St Luke, Finsbury in 1787.
He registered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1824 as a case maker from 37 Great Sutton Street, Clerkenwell and notified three changes of address in that area between 1830 and 1836.
He appears on the 1841 UK Census as a watch case maker at John’s Row, St Luke.
His death was recorded in the Shoreditch register in 1843. (His address in 1843 given in a related register was John's Row, St Luke.)
