WHIPHAM, Thomas I & II (Grimwade p.698, 770-1)

Post by MCB »

The Times newspaper of 2nd March 1816 carried a notice of sale of the 21 years lease on 61 Fleet Street in the occupation of Mr Whipham for a great many years.
Grimwade recorded that Whipham had died in 1815.

It means Thomas Whipham I died in 1784/5, instead of 1756?

Yes, he died in 1785 (see: Silver Studies, Vol. 13, 2001, p.111).
