Re: VICARIDGE, Thomas (Grimwade p.689)
The Robert the Bruce memorial broad sword of 1705, once the property of Sir Alec Douglas Home a former Prime Minister, has been attributed to him as maker.
The recently discovered Will of Thomas Vicaridge, Cutler late of St Bride’s, proved for probate on 28th June 1715 (National Archives reference PROB 11/546/428) puts into question the relevance of the burial of 1725 mentioned in the previous post.
