REILY, Mary Ann (Grimwade p.639-70)

Post by MCB »

She is shown on the 1841 UK Census aged 80 years, was therefore born around 1761 and was presumably a relative of James Hyde (Grimwade p.556, 765) to whom her husband John Samuel (Grimwade p.639, 642) was made apprentice in 1786.
As a spinster of St Vedast, Foster Lane she married John Samuel Reily at Holy Trinity Church in 1801.
She was the mother of Charles Reily (Grimwade p.639, 765).
The 1841 UK Census shows her of independent means living with an Eliza Hyde aged 50 years at Deans Place, Lambeth.
Her burial aged 84 years was recorded in 1845 at St James, St Pancras; her last address was Deans Place.
