HITCHIN, William (Grimwade p.547)

Post by MCB »

The christening record of daughter Sarah at St Giles, Cripplegate in 1808 shows his wife was also named Sarah and he was a toymaker.
The christening record of son Luke Thomas at the same church in 1813 shows his father as an ivory worker from Bridgwater Gardens.
The christening record for another son Richard at the same church in 1815 shows his father as a tortoiseshell worker from the same address as previously.
His wife Sarah’s burial in 1839 aged 67 years and his own burial in 1840 aged 65 years are recorded at St Giles; their last address was as previously.
