The christening record in 1822 at St Martin in the Fields for Alfred Galloway (Grimwade p.517) son of William and Ann shows his year of birth as 1818 and his father as a silversmith at 1 New Exchange Court, Strand.
The 1841 UK Census record for Douglas Street, Westminster shows William aged 64 years as a silversmith living with his wife Ann also aged 64 years.
The 1851 UK Census for 23 Randolph Street, Kentish Town shows an Ann Galloway aged 74 years as a widow and proprietor of houses.
No corresponding death or burial record has been found for William.
