The UK Census of 1841 for Water Lane, Blackfriars shows him as a modeller and at the same address in 1851 still a modeller but also a pensioner of Silversmiths (benefit?). In 1851 his wife Elizabeth was living with a son Charles, a victualler, at Bull’s Head Inn, Ewell, Kent
His wife Elizabeth’s burial aged 65 years was recorded at St Martin in the Fields in 1852; her last address was in Hayes, Middlesex.
