He was christened in 1781 the son of Samuel Foskett, silversmith and Ann.
The christening record for son Samuel Gilbert at St Alphege, Greenwich in 1813 shows his parents as John, silversmith and Ann of Limekiln Lane.
His burial in 1819 aged 39 is recorded at St Mary, Lambeth; his last address was Bishop's Walk.
The Will of John Foskett, Goldsmith of Bishops Walk , Surrey was granted probate at PCC on 18 November 1820. (PROB 11/1636 )
