The christening record of a son at St John, Clerkenwell in 1816 shows his father as a goldsmith at Aylesbury Street.
Two further christenings at St Sepulchre, Holborn in 1818 and 1820 record their father as a goldsmith or a silversmith at Fleet Market.
The 1841 UK Census for New Court, Farringdon Street records him as a goldsmith.
His wife Sarah’s burial aged 65 years is recorded at St Sepulchre in 1850; her last address was New Court.
