Goldworkers List (Section VII).
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1802 as a goldworker at 21 Rathbone Place, Oxford Street.
He married Mary Simpson at St Giles in the Fields, Holborn in 1802; both were of that parish.
There are christening records for four of their children dated 1802-11 at St Giles which contain no further detail of their parents. Three more christening records dated 1813-18 at the same church show their father Jesse as a jeweller or goldsmith from 21 Charlotte Street, Fitzroy Square.
He appears to have died before 1841. He is not mentioned in the UK Census for that year in Chalton Street, Somers Town, St Pancras where his wife Mary is recorded.
