Born 30th July 1786 and christened in East Dereham, Norfolk 20th August 1786. Father James and mother Elizabeth nee Bocking.
Married Lydia Lovett at St Botolph, Aldgate on 7th April 1806. Both of that parish.
1813 christening of daughter at St Mary Islington records him as a jeweller from Chapel Street.
1814 christening of a son at St Andrew, Holborn records him as a jeweller from Plough Court.
1817-28 christenings of children at St Mary, Islington record him as a jeweller at Elliott Place (1817), Lower Street (1819) and returned to Elliott Place (1823-28).
Wife Lydia’s burial recorded in St Mary, Islington registry 13th October 1839; last address Pocock’s Fields.
1841 UK Census for Great Bride Street as a jeweller
Married Ann Cray spinster at St Pancras parish church on 21st May 1842. Recorded as a jeweller from Cumberland Street.
1851 UK Census for Pockock’s Fields, Islington as a jeweller living with wife Ann aged 57 years.
