John Sparke Tapley born 1791.
Christening record for St David, Exeter dated 10th July 1791.
1841 UK Census for Horse Shoe Court as a silversmith aged 50 years.
1851 UK Census for Waterloo Road area of Lambeth (address unreadable) as a silversmith aged 59 years employing 1 man.
1861 & 1871 UK Census for Beaumont Cottages, Northfleet, Kent as a retired silversmith.
Died 7th August 1878.
England & Wales Death Index for North Aylesford register dated 3rd quarter 1878.
National Probate Calendar Principal Registry dated 29th May 1879. Last address Beaumont Cottages. Value of estate under £450.

3 April 1805 John Sparkes son of William Tapley of Carnaby Street Saint James's in the Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex silversmith apprenticed to Paul Storr vintner of London.

5 June 1839 John Sparkes Tapley in right of his apprenticeship to Paul Storr admitted into the freedom of the city in the company of vintners.

9 February 1812 John Sparkes Tapley batchelor of the parish of Saint Giles Camberwell Southwark married Elizabeth Mary Eustace of the same parish.

29 November 1851 John Sparke Tapley (son of William Tapley silversmith) Denmark Street widower and silversmith of the above parish married Mary Ann Tunstall (daughter of Edward Tunstall silver thread spinner) spinster Denmark Street.

Notice is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Tapley, of No. 4, Horse Shoe-cour, Ludgate-hill, in the city of London, Manufacturing Silversmith, Sparks William Tapley, of the same place, Manufacturing Silversmith, and George Tapley, of the same place, Manufacturing Silversmith, carrying on business under the firm of Tapley and Company, was, so far as regards the said George Tapley, this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and from the said concern will be received and paid by the said John Tapley and Sparks William Tapley, who will carry on business under the same firm.—Dated this 9th day of August 1842.
