Possibly died 1742.
Burial record for St Leonard, Shoreditch dated 14th September 1742 of a Thomas Redhead. Aged 44 years; last address Christopher's Alley.

From Charles Bagshaw's freedom papers dated 8 July 1731:

John Hunt of the parish of Allhallows Lombard Street London Barber and Citizen and Barber Surgeon of London Maketh Oath That he well knew and was acquainted with Thomas Redhead Citizen and Merchant Taylor of London (to whom Charles Bagshaw was bound apprentice) And that the said Redhead sometime in February last went with a gentleman in his travels beyond the Sea And further Saith that about a Month since Mr. William Littlebury (whom this Deponent works with as a journeyman) received a Letter from the said Redhead dated at Madera the 7th of May last and which this Deponent verily believes to be the hand Writing of the said Redhead he being acquainted with the same And Further Saith ththe verily believes the said Redhead to be now in parts beyond the Seas.
