Born c1784.
1841 UK Census for Turnham Green, Chiswick as a silversmith aged 55 years.
Died 1850.
London Deaths & Burials Index for St Nicholas, Chiswick register dated 21st October 1850. Aged 66 years; last address Turnham Green.

The Will of John Houle, late of Chiswick, was proved for probate on 6th December 1850 (National Archives reference PROB 11/2123/383).

Recorded as a Gold and Silversmith of 24, Red Lion Street, Clerkenwell.

An advertisement from 1863 from D. & C. Houle, the successors to John Houle.

This would be John Houle's sons, Daniel John, and Charles Houle, both born in Clerkenwell.

David John died on the 16th May 1884 and the business sold to Charles Stuart Harris.
